Java Phone Apps

I'm currently working on a number of mobile phone games and applications, some for my phone - the Sony Ericsson T610, and some for Nokia Series 40 phones, specifically the 7210. Although Java is meant to be platform independent, Nokia have broken this by introducing a load of extensions that only work on their phones, and if you want to be able to produce anything worthwhile, you have to use them, which is not the best situation. Sony Ericsson's implementation is a lot cleaner however, the T610 fully supports the MIDP 1.0 and CLDC 1.0 spec, with no proprietary extensions.
